NISARGA celebrated Environment Day in collaboration with the stakeholders such as Self-Help Groups, farmers and local schools in 11 villages of the project area. Awareness rally around the village, speeches, skits, dances and songs on the importance of protecting the environment, planting and distribution of saplings as well as sharing meals as community were the major contents of the programme. The celebration was held in Duggavara, Thanigekallu, Janakal, Aji kam Sagara, Balenahalli, Devigere, Gollerahatti, KK Hatti, Sadarahalli, Mavinakatte & Lambanihatti villages from 5th to 21st June 2023.
