In collaboration with NABARD, a 10-day Organic Manure Production Training was conducted for 30 women of Anivala village from 21.04.2022 to 30.04.2022. The participants received practical training on preparing organic pesticides, Jeevamrutha, Agni Astra, Beejamrutha, vermicompost, and compost manure in the fields of selected beneficiaries. The training was highly interactive and also helped women build self-confidence through daily report presentations and group discussions. An action plan for promoting organic farming in the village was prepared with the guidance of Sr. Zita. The participants also visited Dr. Murugesh’s farm to learn about natural farming practices. Certificates were distributed at the end of the training. Mr. Tanaji S3IDF and Mr. Shivakumar served as the main resource persons, while NABARD DDM Mrs. Kavitha Shashidhar encouraged the women to start a manure production unit in Anivala.
